Montgomery Gentry Drop Video For “Drink Along Song”

Montgomery Gentry just shared the video for the tune "Drink Along Song,” which features some of the last live footage of the late Troy Gentry, who died September 8th of last year.

“There are million things that go through my mind,” Angie Gentry tells "Billboard" of watching the clip. “It’s a very mixed emotion. It’s one of those things where you know it’s going to hurt, but you have to do it anyway.”

She adds, “I hate seeing it, because it reinforces the fact that he’s gone, yet I love seeing it because I can still see him….It’s bittersweet in so many ways. I love watching it because it’s a memory that is always going to be there, and I get to have that. But it also reminds me that’s the only way I can see him now.”

  • To coincide with the release, Angie has announced the launch of The Troy Gentry Foundation, with a concert benefiting the foundation, set for January 9th at the Grand Ole Opry House. The event, hosted by Blake Shelton, also features Eddie Montgomery, Rascal Flatts, Chris Janson, Jon Pardi, Dustin Lynch and more. Click here for info on tickets.
