Cinnabon is teaming up with Carvel to create Cinnabon Swirl. Kristen Hartman, president of special category at Focus Brands says the new locations will feel like “a beautiful marriage” and customers will be able to enjoy their favorite Cinnabon treats along with ice cream from Carvel and she wants to emphasize the gathering aspect for kids and families.
There are plans for a couple of test locations in March of 2023 and is in the process of turning drawings and renderings into actual prototypes. Franchisees of both companies are said to be excited about the new concept and Cinnabon plans to go outside of malls to physical locations and drive-thrus and patio seating could also be in future locations.
The other Focus brands such as Auntie Anne’s and Jamba have already branched out with similar concepts in Atascadero, California and Wylie, Texas so if you’re familiar with that team up – now you know what to expect!
