Woman Is Longest-Serving Flight Attendant

(Boston, MA) -- A woman working as a flight attendant non-stop for 65 years has claimed a Guinness World Record. Bette Nash started working in the skies as a flight attendant in 1957 for Eastern Airlines. Today, she still flies, working for American Airlines. In addition to being the longest-serving flight attendant, the 86-year-old Boston woman is also the oldest flight attendant. The job has changed a bit over the years, Nash says she's glad she no longer has to meet weight requirements airlines used to put in place.
