When “The Amazing Race” returns to CBS for season 34, one of the contestants may look a bit familiar to football fans. Former NFL head coach Rex Ryan is set to compete on the series, partnering with one of his golf buddies, Tim Mann, a 40-year-old probation officer.
Ryan, who coached the New York Jets from 2009 to 2014 and the Buffalo Bills from 2015 to 2016, is currently an analyst on ESPN's "NFL Sunday Countdown.”
