“Saturday Night Live’s” 49th season kicks off on January 21st and Aubrey Plaza is making her hosting debut. Sam Smith is tapped as musical guest. Next up will Be Michael B. Jordan and musical guest Lil Baby, who’s making his first appearance. The episode airs on January 28. This will be the first season without Cecily Strong, so the new cast members are expected to step up their game. Strong announced her departure during the December 17th episode.
