Old Dominion Pranks Kenny Chesney

Fans came out to see Kenny Chesney and Kelsea Ballerini in Evansville, Indiana Saturday night - but they (and Kenny) got a little bit more.

Seems Kenny's friends and occasional tour mates Old Dominion dropped by the show - and casually strolled out on stage as Kenny was mid-song. After surprising the country legend on-stage, the group and Kenny broke into an impromptu rendition of the Eagles hit "Take It Easy," delighting the crowd. After, Kenny admitted, "Nobody pulls one over on me. My band and my crew can't keep secrets, but they kept this one!"

A positive footnote to the whole thing: Old Dominion lead singer Matthew Ramsey showed up without his cane for the first time since being sidelined by an ATV accident back in March, so his recovery seems to be progressing.

"I've missed them, I love them and I'm proud of them," Chesney added on social media, sharing a few photos of the moment. "What a fun night. From Evansville to the Red Door. You can't make it up." On their social media, Old Dominion also documented the moment, writing, "A little Saturday night surprise for [Kenny Chesney] on the [I Go Back Tour.]"
