Tuesday Was The Hottest Day On Record And Today May Top That

Tuesday was the hottest day ever recorded on Earth. That broke the record that was set on the previous day and today may break the record, too. According to the U.S. National Centers for Environmental Prediction, the average global temperature was 62-point-92 degrees Fahrenheit. That topped Monday's record over 62-point-62-degrees.
