Netflix Reportedly Planning Brick And Mortar Locations

Why didn’t Blockbuster think of this? Now that Netflix has shuttered their by-mail DVD services, their next step very well could be opening up a few brick-and-mortar locations. Josh Simon, VP of consumer products for Netflix, says the company is looking into opening stores that "offer retail, dining, and live entertainment that leverage its TV shows and movies.” The locations for the first two “Netflix House” stores have yet to be announced, but the target date currently stands at 2025.
