Toyota Recalls 1.9 Million RAV4s Because Of Battery Issue

Toyota announced yesterday that it was issuing a recall on almost 1.9-million RAV4 small SUVs to fix a battery problem. The batteries in certain RAV4s made from 2013 through 2018 can move during hard turns and potentially cause a fire. The company says it’s coming up with a fix for the problem and will replace the battery hold-down clamp. People can check to see if their vehicle is involved in the recall at the NHTSA website.
