Black Friday sales have kicked off early at some major retailers despite Thanksgiving still two days away. Some retailers are spreading out the deals to avoid a huge rush on stores that has been seen in past years on Thanksgiving night and early Friday morning. In New York City, Nordstrom on West 57th Street revealed its holiday windows yesterday while Saks FIfth Avenue debuted the holiday lighted building display and windows last night. The National Retail Federation predicts a record high number of people will shop on Thanksgiving weekend. Online retailers have also started their sales, so there are plenty of options.
