"New Year's Eve Live: Nashville's Big Bash" Details Revealed

"New Year's Eve Live: Nashville's Big Bash" is back - hard to believe the holiday is just a month away! With that being said, the annual Nashville party is coming together and the hosts and (some) performers have been announced. Here's what we know so far:

  • The five-hour show will air on CBS and will stream on Paramount+ starting Sunday, December 31, 7:30-10:00 PM, ET/PT, 10:30 PM-1:05 AM, ET/PT.
  • Elle King is set to host the show alongside "Entertainment Tonight" host Rachel Smith. They previously hosted together last year.
  • As far as performers go, the special will feature close to 50 performances, many of which have yet to be announced. In addition to her co-hosting duties, Elle King is also set to perform with previously announced performers Thomas RhettLynyrd Skynyrd, and Lainey Wilson. These artists are all confirmed to appear on the main stage at Nashville’s Bicentennial Capitol Mall State Park. Many more artists will be announced in coming weeks.
  • If you're actually going to be in Nashville for NYE, you should know the main stage performances are free and open to the public. This is where Nashville's version of the Time Square Ball Drop, the Music Note Drop, takes place at midnight along with fireworks. If you're making plans to be there for all the fun, go to the Visit Music City website first.
