Amber and Justin Van Slyke have been married for almost nine years. Because they were both adopted, they have always had adoption in their hearts.
The couple has two biological children, a 7-year-old daughter and a 4-year-old son. Due to pregnancy complications, doctors told Amber it would be unsafe for her to naturally conceive any more children. She and Justin knew they wanted another child, so they decided on adoption. They left it up to God to decide if another child was meant to be a part of their family.
