Peter the peacock is ruling the roost in Beaverton, Oregon!
The peacock showed up Saturday and started strutting around a neighborhood ruffling a few feathers. Peacocks aren't usually dangerous and often do their best to avoid human contact.
Police are offering a few tips if you come in contact with a peacock:
First, if his tail feathers fan out, he's showing dominance. If you're not a peacock, he's likely telling you to buzz off because you've gotten in his grill. Peacocks may also try to fly, although it's more of a hop. Best advice, just grab a photo of Peter and move on.
