Did you meet him when he was in Winchester? Well, The Situation might be going from the Jersey Shore to jail! His real name is Mike Sorrentino and he's facing a slew of charges, including tax evasion, structuring, and falsifying records.
Mike allegedly hid his cash income, evaded his 2011 income taxes, and filed a false return for his clothing line Situation Nation, which he created with this brother Marc, who was also indicted.
If convicted, both brothers face a hefty jail sentence. There's a statutory maximum sentence of five years for the conspiracy count, and three years for each count of aiding in the preparation of false tax returns. Plus, The Situation also faces a maximum sentence of 10 years for each structuring count and five for the tax evasion count.
