Rodney Atkins and his fiancee, singer/songwriter Rose Falcon, plan to get married in the next couple of weeks. The couple are currently touring together, and Rodney says they will return to a favorite destination to say their "I dos," a small island in the gulf.
Rodney says the nuptials will be a small affair, with just family and a few close friends. He and Rose will be married by the 87-year-old man who ran the Holston United Methodist Home for Children in Greeneville, Tennessee from which Rodney was adopted as a baby.
This will be the first marriage for Rose, 28, and the second for Rodney, 44.
